ECPS science teachers participated in professional development activities with the Old Dominion Center for Educational Partnerships at Westmoreland State Park on October 11th during Teacher Professional Development Day.

Happy Custodian Appreciation Day! Today, we celebrate the hardworking custodians who play a vital role in keeping our schools clean, safe, and welcoming. Their dedication ensures our students and staff have a healthy environment to learn and grow each day. From early mornings to late nights, our custodians go above and beyond to maintain our facilities. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment and the pride they take in their work. PBIS Rewards is an affordable school wide system that assists schools in their Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support Program. This program helps us to reward students for their good behavior in class, kind acts towards peers and teachers, and overall setting good examples while at school. Today we had a presentation by Mrs. Ipson and Ms. Shelton introducing all students to our new 24-25 school store! Students can earn bark bucks which can be redeemed for incentives like: Stanley tumblers, Iphone cases, Bluetooth speakers, Homework passes, Croc charms and more! Let's work hard JCIS!!!!

Homecoming Spirit Week at JCIS September 30-October 4th!

What an amazing time we had at the JCIS Fall Festival today. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the event such a huge success! From the delicious tall snow cones and hibachi meals to the exciting mini raffle baskets and fun games, there was something for everyone. The book fair was a hit, and the face painting artists kept the smiles coming all day long! We loved seeing our community come together to enjoy the fall festivities, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. A huge shoutout to all the volunteers, vendors, and staff who helped make this day so special. Until then, thank you for your continued support of JCIS! 💙
